Assessment

Books are marked after each lesson with the St Andrews marking policy, using a green and pink pen. Children are given the opportunity to “purple polish” their learning. These assessments help to inform teachers knowledge assessments which are carried out half termly against the National curriculum and St Andrews Geography objectives. Assessments are then used to inform future planning, plug gaps and address misconceptions.
